Fabulous David McKay Brown 28 ga. over under.  29″ solid rib barrels feature a raised solid file cut rib, choked improved cylinder and modified (.006/.012).  A magnificent example of the famous round action trigger plate over under gun from this boutique maker.  Designed and manufactured by Mckay Brown, this particular gun was built circa 2008.  The action is engraved in a wonderfully detailed Arabesque pattern showing intertwined foliate tendrils over an old silver finish.  The result is a visual delight of fine handcrafted gunmaker’s art.  A rare find as only a handful of the over-under guns can be produced every year and the wait time presently in excess of two years. Stocked in special order exhibition walnut which exhibits rich deep color and contrasting black ribbons of flowing figure, Prince of Wales grip.  Measures 1-3/8″ comb, 2-1/4 heel”, 14- 7/8″ length of pull from the single trigger to a checkered butt.  This gun was in a collection and has not seen any appreciable use and remains in about new condition.  Best Scottish guns by David Mckay Brown are highly sought after and this 28 gauge is a prime offering.
