The scalloped back action features fabulous deep carved floral and gamescenes of pheasant and quail, the remainder of the action engraved in fine arabesque. Breech end of the barrels extensively engraved with acanthus and floral extending 3″ on the breech. A true high art gun of the era. Double triggers, automatic ejectors, the half-round pistol grip stock of highly figured old world walnut, matching three piece forend.
