Midland hammergun 12 gauge, 3″ chambers, 30″ barrels feature a flat top file cut rib choked improved modified and full. (022/040), proofed at 1-1/2 oz. The low-profile action enables the hammers to be out of the line of sight when cocked. Side clips and a Greener crossbolt assure a firm lockup. Fine English scroll engraved the action retains rich vivid case color.  The fore-end with buffalo horn tip is secured with a Deely latch .  Bores are mirror bright and wall thickness minimum .035 in both barrels. The robust round grip stock of red and black well figured walnut measures 15 1/4 over a black vulcanite one inch extension. The drop at comb 1-3/8″ and heel 2- 3/8″.  The breech face is perfect, retaining all the original color.  Quite the unusual find weighing in at 8-1/2 lbs.and still a balance point at the hinge pin. All original finish completely unmolested outstanding condition.
