Exhibition grade Arrieta features 27.5″ barrels choked open improved and modified (.004/.008), 70mm chambers. The barrels are engraved  “New England Arms”.  Hand-detachable locks, double triggers, ejectors.  Fabulous relief engraving and gold game birds by the Italian Master Dassa.  This very gun was used as an example of a custom order Arrieta gun through New England Arms.  As seen in the photos, this was an exhibition quality work and likely one of a kind.  Magnificent burl walnut of outsanding color and figure.  Stock measures 1-3/8″ comb, 2-1/4″ heel, 15″ LOP to a  checkered butt.  Slight cast off.  1998 production.  Back in the day, New England arms was one of the largest dealer/importers of fine guns.  This appears to be an all out best effort.  Just incredible at less than 1/3 cost.  Weighs just 6 lbs., 2 oz.,remains in new condition with Maker’s case.
