Krieghoff Essencia 28 ga. features 28″ barrels, concave game rib, choked tight improved cylinder and modified (.008/.013),  2-3/4″ chambers.  Double triggers, auto ejectors and auto safe.  This is the shared true small frame only available in 28 or 410.  The sidelock action incorporates a hidden third bite.  The fine English scroll engraving against a brilliant rainbow of swirling case colors makes a striking statement.  The name Krieghoff and Essencia and all the internal parts and triggers (front articulated) are gold plated.  The straight hand stock of true Circassian walnut shows rich red color and boldly flowing black ribbons throughout.  Measures 1-3/8″, comb 2-1/4″ heel, 15″ LOP to a checkered butt.  Slight cast off.  Hand built in the workshop of Jens Ziegenhahn, a fourth generation gunmaker, the Essencia is a fabulous example of boutique fine gun making.  I understand orders are subject to a three year wait.  This is a superb example and remains as new accompanied by a beautiful fitted calfskin case with padded outer cover and original unfilled warranty card.  This racy little double tips the scale at just under 5-1/2 lbs.  With the tariffs in place at this time, this represents an extraordinary opportunity to own one of these wonderful fine guns now.
