Pre-war Rigby .416, 25-1/2″ heavy barrel, integral quarter rib, express sights – standing sight 100 yards – two folding leaves at 200 and 300 yards.  Bore is excellent.  Correct Mauser square bridge magnum action features four shot magazine box.  Fully documented per the Rigby records built in 1927, and sold to Manton & Company, Calcutta which was the jumping off point for most safaris of the period.  Completely original example other than a replacement Silvers recoil pad.  Weighs 9-3/4 lbs, 14-1/2″ LOP.  Although this rifle has seen field use, it still retains most of its orginal blue and patina.  An extraordinary example of one of the most famous African magazine rifles ever built.  A true prize for the collector, or ready for its next journey to the dark continent!  Cased. ~SOLD~
